Art Workshops
Are you ready to learn a new art? You don't need any experience to be able to create a beautiful project.
The glass and other materials do so much of the work for you. Have a fun evening out with friends, family, and meet new people. The fee includes all materials and tools, snacks, and wine (for all participants 21 and up) The kids' workshops are open to anyone 8 and up, All the others are great for everyone 12 and up! It would be a great activity to enjoy with your son, daughter or grandkids!
I have been making mosaics and fused glass, jewelry, painting and 3D art for over 2 decades and I have had the opportunity to teach classes at community colleges, in studios, and homes. I am so excited to share the fun learning experience with everybody!

On Saturday, October 23rd, we will be making wooden ornaments at Mechanistic Brewery’s Oktoberfest. Starting at 2pm, we will make them until supplies run out!
Don’t worry, no creative experience is necessary, we will guide you through the process of woodburning, and alcohol ink to make an ornament to take home with you.
Register ahead of time for the best deal. We will also have plenty for walk-ins.
Make your own jewelry at this fun workshop! You will make a bracelet and a pair of earrings or keychain. You will pound on an anvil, bend wire and stamp the metal for interesting effects. No experience necessary, just come and have fun!

Sunday, December 11 at 4pm. $35 covers all materials, instruction, and refreshments. If you want to make more than 1 bracelet and 1 pair of earrings, you can add additional projects for $10 at the workshop.

On Friday, July 9th at either 5 or 7, come make a fused garden for your window or to brighten up a shelf or table. I will help you make a unique creation, you don't need any experience to make a piece you will be proud of!
You will work with fused glass, frits, and even recycled wine bottles. Then you leave the piece with me to fire in my kiln, and then it will be framed and ready for you to pick up after the weekend. I can also mail it to you for an additional $5.
While you work there will be wine, cheese, snacks, and dessert. Everything is included for $25, so come make a night of it!

We are going to move this class online and make it a party! There will be 2 different events. The first will be when I open your Your 3 pearls on Facebook live on Saturday, March 21st at 5pm (we will also have fun trading with each other for different colors) Then I will mail out the pearls, tools, and materials and we will make the jewelry together (online) on Saturday, March 28th. I will also make a video tutorial if you want to do it at a different time.
No experience is necessary, just come and have fun making your own unique jewelry.

Learn how to work with fused glass to make your own Christmas Tree ornaments! You will have the option to make 3 ornaments or pendants, you can choose at the workshop. On Friday, June 21st you can mosaic on an actual bottle that has been melted down to give you a flat canvas to work on. We will add a wire hanger so that you can hang this in your window or on the wall. Make the featured design, or get creative and make your own ship in a bottle!

Make a gorgeous Oil Diffuser on Friday, July 12th at either 4pm or 6pm using techniques to manipulate a variety of alcohol inks. When you are done, we will seal it for you to use to bring beauty and aroma to your home. (or give as a wonderful gift!)

Open your own pearl and then make a gorgeous pendant while learning to wire wrap!
Have fun with a surprise in each shell. There will be extras so that you can trade for a different color, shape, or size.

Make 2 sparkling pendants using techniques in wire wrapping and beadwork. All levels will be able to make something they are proud to wear or give as a gift.
There will be a variety of beads and crystals to make your jewelry unique to you. You will also get to do a little hammering on an anvil to give your piece a professional look. All tools and materials are included.
